For the second time in three years, the Association of State and Local Agencies (ASLA) has named Hittner & Associates its outstanding professional services firm in the Western US in the "emerging small business" category. The current award is for 2007 with H&A previously winning the award for 2005. The category covers professional services firms with fewer than 200 employees.
The award is given to the firm that best exemplifies the highest quality in
value-added services to its clients. Firms are nominated by current or past clients who worked with the nominated organization in the past year. The firms are also judged on ethics criteria as well as contributions to the public sector in general.
